At CH Barnett, we pride ourselves on producing high quality, precision made stainless steel fabrications for a number of industries. Each customer, like each industry, has a set of requirements that we need to adhere to and specifications that we always meet.
The pharmaceutical sector is no different. There are a number of requirements when fabricating parts, components and products for this industry, notably strict material control, contamination-free surfaces, and that they are easy to maintain/clean – especially for contact parts.
When manufacturing any stainless steel fabrication for the pharmaceutical sector, we ensure that it is made with exacting precision, and meets the stringent guidelines of both our customer and the sector.
Strict material control
From design through to assembly and finishing, every process is thoroughly carried out following strict quality control procedures accredited to ISO 9001: 2015. We ensure that strict material control is followed, whilst meeting all hygiene and safety guidelines and legislation.
Importance of hygiene and contamination control
Items used in pharmaceutical processing need to adhere to high standards of hygiene and contamination control protocol. We ensure that, during the fabrication process, all safeguards are put in place to ensure a contaminant-free, sanitary finish, with no pit, grooves or lines which could harbour harmful bacteria. Assembly is then carried out in a dedicated clean room environment to further assure a contaminant-free fabrication.
Stainless steel is ideal for fabrications for contact parts and components for the pharmaceutical sector as it provides excellent corrosion-resistance and a sanitary finish that is easy to clean and maintain.
We are able to undertake any size of project, and each and every product and component is made to meet our customers’ individual requirements. We can provide contact parts and components such as vacuum vessels, specialist and research magnets, speed tablet counting machines, vibratory trays, hoppers, machine frames and assemblies – there’s no end to what we can fabricate.
